AR Software for the Faculty of Informatics at the University of Debrecen
We developed a mixed reality-based educational software for the Faculty of Informatics at the University of Debrecen, which supports student training and the presentation of the department. The program's goal is to introduce the computer assembly process in an interactive and spectacular way, and to support modern engineering education through AR technology.
In the software, users can assemble the computer or Arduino robot step by step in their own environment. During the game, they can perform the assembly with the help and advice of a small robot, while a transparent template shows the assembly sequence. At the end of the process, the system evaluates the performance.
Development Steps:
- Defining the objectives and functionality of the AR-based educational software
- Programming and Development: Implementation of the software's foundation and mechanics in Unity environment
- Testing and Fine-tuning: Verification of software functions on PICO 4 Ultra Enterprise device.
- Handover and Documentation: Installation of the finished AR software and provision of user documentation for the department, Preparation of further development opportunities and updates.
